Nizoral Hair Loss

Nizoral shampoo is an interesting product that is primarily bought to fight dandruff, scalp irritations and flaking and to treat fungal infections. However, since its launch Nizoral has been reported to offer similar properties to some FDRA accepted hair loss drugs and treatments.

Nizoral hair loss reports suggest that the shampoo helps to block DHT from killing hair follicles, from the surface level. Its been compared to having similar effectivness to Minoxidol 2% formulas. But should you just use Nizoral for hair loss by itself?

Well, truth is, you really want to use Nizoral as part of your suite of armour against hair loss problems. You should try Nizoral, but because its not a well known treatment, and has produced mixed results with users, your best to incorporate it in your program and see if it works for you.

Nizoral works because of the active ingredient ketoconazole, which is known to activly reduce the process of DHT being transformed from testosterone. Some people complain that nizoral can irritate the scalp, and cause redness. If this is the case, use the 1% concentrate, instead of the 2% version....

All the best, Janse Willems
